At the current moment, Instagram has reported they are investigating and trying to find a solution for the bug that has caused the log out button to disappear.
This article will be updated whenever the issue has been resolved. It’s quite annoying for people like myself that have personal and business accounts unable to log out. The problem is happening on both iOS and Android devices where the Instagram log out button is missing. The only way you can log in and out of your Instagram is by using your mobile or desktop browser.
How to Log Out From Instagram:
At the given moment the only way you can log out from Instagram is using your mobile or desktop browser.
Step 1: From your web browser go to Instagram.com and log into your account
Step 2: Click On Profile Icon located in the upper right-hand corner
Step 3: You’ll find three dots next to your username
Step 4: Click on the three dots and the log out prompt should appear

I’m actually glad I came across this post. I was trying to create a new Instagram for my business but couldn’t find the log out button for my personal account. thought it was just me and I wasn’t looking properly or something, so I used another device to create the account.
