Do you know what Canva Pro can do for your business?
A lot of people ask me if they should upgrade to the full version. The free version is great, but some limitations and features might not work well with certain companies or designs, so I recommend checking out our guide on how to use Canva Pro.
When it comes down to deciding whether or not Canva Pro is worth the money for you, several factors will help answer this question.
One critical consideration should be what do I need from my design software? If your answers range anywhere between business cards and brochures, we may have something in common because both can use professional designs created by designers like me!
The other key difference between these two plans is that the paid version offers extra features, including exporting templates and keyboard shortcuts. Hence, users never lose time reaching around their mouse when creating complicated documents.
In this Canva Pro Review, we’ll look at:
- What is Canva
- Canva free vs. paid – what’s the difference
- How much is Canva Pro
- How to get Canva Pro for free
Let’s dive right in.
What is Canva
Canva is the perfect tool for social media posts and blog graphics. You can create complicated designs with just a few clicks while still being able to customize every aspect of your design without wasting space or unnecessary elements on screen!
Graphic designing has never been easier with the massive photo, video, and font library Canva provides! You can even find templates for anything you might want to design, so if graphic-editing skills aren’t your most vital point, then don’t worry because this site will help customize beautiful graphics in no time at all.
Canva is an excellent tool for designers and creative entrepreneurs to use in their businesses. It has plenty of functionality available on the free plan, but there are still features that will make your work stand out if you upgrade, such as watermarks or multiple backgrounds per project!
The best thing about Canva? That it’s got lots of options–both basic ones like creating Pinterest pins OR more advanced tasks involving graphics marketing social media platforms (like Facebook).

CANVA PRO VS THE FREE VERSION OF CANVA
Photos & Videos
Canva is the best software for designing your t-shirts, posters, and flyers. You can also use Canvas to create professional photos that will set you apart from other businesses! The app has over 4M free graphics but if they don’t have what it takes, feel free to buy premium images starting at $1 each so no matter how many designs you need, there’s absolutely nothing stopping creativity here with this incredible tool
Canva Pro offers access to 60 million high-quality graphic assets, which means all designers know alternatives when faced with different challenges in their workflow having them available saves valuable time as well, considering most people.
Fonts
The free version of Canva is great for getting started with design but not very customizable. The pro option offers a ton more features and access to 1000+ fonts, so it’s worth checking out if you want total control over your designs!
Brand Kit
Canva is the perfect tool for creating beautiful graphics and designs. You can easily upload your logo files, fonts with Canva Pro!
The free version of this program has some limitations, but it’s worth checking out if you’re looking into getting started designing or need a low-cost option that won’t break your budget too badly (compared to programs like Photoshop).
Templates
Free Canva: Access to 250,000 free templates.
Canva Pro: Access to over 610,000 premium templates with new designs daily.
Folders
Free Canva: You can only create two folders on the free plan.
Canva Pro: Access to unlimited folders to organize your work.
Storage
Free Canva: 5 GB storage.
Canva Pro: 100 GB storage.
Team Access
Free Canva: You’re able to share a link to one of your designs via email for a team member to view or edit.
Canva Pro: Share a link to one of your designs via email for the team member to view and edit or use as a template. This is an essential tool if you want people to buy Canva templates online.
This feature improves the “share a link to edit” in Canva’s free version. If someone buys your templates and forgets they need access before editing (which can be so easy), their work will End Up Being Gone! With ‘Share A Link As Template’, They Get Access To a Copy Of Your Template Rather Than the Original.
Resize Your Design
Free Canva: If you’ve accidentally created a design in the wrong size, there is no way to resize it. You’ll have to start over again from scratch!
Canva Pro: Canva’s magic resizes function helps you speed up your design process efficiently turning one design into multiple formats. With just a few clicks, this really excellent tool saves hours in production time!
Transparent Background
Free Canva: The transparent backgrounds feature is not available on the free plan.
Canva Pro: Delete distracting backgrounds in one click and enjoy the convenience of saving your graphic as a transparent PNG file. This function is also convenient when editing logos or other graphics files with similar background patterns.
Animations

What I don’t like about Canva
I absolutely love Canva, and it’s one of my favorite blogging tools. I don’t like the only thing when creating printable if you save a file in the JPEG or PNG format is not 300 DPI.
To get a 300 DPI, I have to download the file as PDF print and then use an online site to convert it to a high-quality JPEG or PNG file.
Apart from these minor drawbacks, I think Canva is the best graphic design tool and user-friendly.
