I have been in the online business for over 10 years now. This is something that I really wanted to do because I was tired of working for someone else, having a set work schedule doing the same thing, every day. Like anybody that is trying to start a business, I wanted to learn what I need to do to grow my business and how to be successful at it. So I started investing in books, podcasts, coaching and mentorship, and conferences. Some were successful ventures and I did learn a few things, but I did not see the growth in my business as I wanted. 

Before I stumbled across Five Minutes to Famous, I was very hesitant at first because I didn’t know how it would help my business, or would it be worth my time, effort, and money. I got laid off on March 24, 2020. Now that I am pursuing my business full time, I have to be cautious about being productive instead of being busy. I hesitated at purchasing this course because I was not sure if it was going to worth my time and money.

When I started working with Susie Moore, my media presence did not exist past social media. I currently post on LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, and Facebook. I even tried my luck with Snapchat and TikTok. I would post content several times a day on each platform. It was so much content, it was hard to keep track of which post went where. I even have it in my advertising budget to spend a certain amount on social media ads on Facebook and Instagram.

Since taking the Five Minutes to Famouscourse, I now have the confidence and understanding to reach out to different media sources. I have written a post on Medium.com, been interviewed on three podcasts and I am currently waiting for acceptance to another online magazine.  I look at Susie Moore as my Oprah Winfrey. This is what I mean. If you have written a book and Oprah would talk about it on her show, the next week you become a NY Times Best Seller. That’s how Susie Moore has helped me.

The best thing that I liked about working with Susie Moore was that she introduced and taught me how to navigate through a media realm that I had never thought about.  I thought I was doing the best at getting my name, my face, and my brand by posting massive content on all of the social media platforms. Not only did I post a lot of content, I paid for advertising on several platforms. Notice the phrase “paid for advertising”. Going with the route of media opportunities, not only is it another platform to get my name and face out there, but best of all its free!!! Free is my favorite word!

The biggest thing that I received from Five Minutes to Famous is something that most people might not expect. When purchasing this course, most people would be satisfied if their business is taken to the next level, if their income doubled or if their face and brand became famous. But for me, the biggest thing that I got from the course was being taken out of my comfort zone and raising my confidence.

The last thing I wanted to do was be out in the public. I am an introvert by nature, so networking, reaching out to others, and partnering is not my cup of tea. Because English is my second language, I’m very self-conscience of my writing and my speaking. I’m much happier behind the computer screen helping others take their business to the next level. But if I wanted to see the results that I knew Five Minutes to Famous could bring me, I had to get comfortable being uncomfortable. Once I reached out to a couple of editors of magazines, owners of different types of blogs, attended some virtual group outings and meet ups, and being the guest on several podcasts, the results ended up being positive. My confidence began to rise. I just needed that one big push to take a leap of faith and the rest is history.

Of course I wanted the fame, the tripled income, and the business growth but my introvertness caused me to be a little fearful. Once I jumped out of my comfort zone, my confidence began to rise, and the fame, increase of income and accelerated business growth came with it.

The two most important things that you will take from this course are how media can help the growth of your business, and how to leverage media so you get the results you have been dreaming of. With media comes fame, hence the name of the course. But media is not about becoming famous. It’s about getting results for your business. I was very successful with the media presence that I was implementing. But there are levels to success and after taking this course, the results propelled my business to the next level!

Accessing media seems intimidating at first. But after taking this course, I better understand how to leverage media to get results, increase my presence, and grow my brand. Understanding how media works and how it can benefit my business, helped increase my confidence in business and, surprisingly, my personal life.

I would recommend Susie and this course to anyone that wants to start a successful online business, has a product to sell, or wants to see their business grow to the next level.
