But what do you post on social media to get the most impact? In this blog post, I’ll give you ideas for posts that will help raise awareness of your business, promote your Etsy shop, and drive sales.

New Product Post – Let your followers know what’s new in your shop and give them a reason to visit. Make sure to use high-quality images and write an engaging description follow by a call to action so prospective buyers take action and visit your shop.

Reviews – Etsy is a great platform for creative entrepreneurs, but one of the challenges can be standing out in a sea of talented makers. One way to do that is by letting your happy customers do the talking for you! Customer reviews and testimonials are a powerful marketing tool, so don’t be afraid to show them off.


Behind the scenes –  you know that behind every great shop is a great maker. They are the ones who take these ideas and turn them into beautiful products. Don’t be afraid to do behind the scenes post where your audience gets to meet you the maker. 

Promotions – If you’re running a special why not use social media to reach a large audience and potentially make more sales. As an extra pro tip, you can use a landing page where prospective customers can opt in to get the incentive while growing your email list at the same time.

Accomplishments – Did you just hit a milestone maybe you have sold 1,000 products or maybe you hit your two-year anniversary these are accomplishments you should be posting and sharing with your audience. 

FAQ – It’s important to address any FAQ you acquire from your products. This is a great way to showcase your expertise within your niche, answer questions, and gain credibility. Pro tip – people buy from people they know, like, and trust. 

When posting content for your Etsy business, it’s important to make sure every piece is intentional – from the photos you choose to share to the words you write. That way, you’ll be sure to reach your target audience and connect with them in a meaningful way.

So take the time to plan out each post before hitting “post” – it will be worth it in the end!
