In today’s post, I am going to be talking about the buyer’s journey and why it matters when it comes to pinning content on Pinterest. By providing value and answers at every stage, you’re able to nurture customers toward making a decision, if done right, the decision to buy from you
As an Etsy seller is important to understand the buyer’s purchase journey.
Here are the different stages:
⫸ Stage 1: Aware – In the awareness stage the potential buyer is merely experiencing the symptoms of a problem and’s trying to put a name to it. At this stage, they don’t know who you are or that you can provide a solution to their problem. They are just simply trying to figure out what is their problem and trying to find some sort of solution.
⫸ Stage 2: Evaluate – The potential buyer now knows their problem and is starts to research potential solutions. As an Etsy seller, your job is to provide content that is focused on the solution. You want then to be researching for a solution to their problem and they come across your Pinterest content and think of you as an expert in that particular niche.
⫸ Stage 3: Purchase – In the final stage the buyer has identified his issue, has done research on different companies, products, or services that can help him. Now his final decision is making a decision with whom they would purchase. If you have successfully marketed to them in the early stages of the buyer’s journey, then you have a great chance of closing the sale.
By creating searchable content on Pinterest the right people will find your content and it will make it easier to drive more traffic back to your Etsy products and services.
